Can light projected rearward from an object traveling at light speed stand still?

If an object is traveling north at the speed of light and a light is projected south, what speed will the light travel that is projected rearward? Would it stand still or would it still travel at the speed of light toward the south?

1. Light always travels at one speed or not at all. If the carrier traveled at light speed and shined a flashlight out the rear, the light would still be at c. It only differs to an observer traveling relative to the first carrier. However, in your 2D experiment, that person would see the same thing. Shone sideways, it would look like a waterfall of some kind.
