I get dizzy/light headed when i stand up .. only in my apartment tho?

i get light headed when i stand up from sitting on my couch for a while... but only in my apartment it doesn't happen to me at work or any place up... what could that mean.. i have a old heater in my house could it be carbon monoxide??

YES! Get a hold of your superintendent immediately and I suggest you not spend a night in your apartment until doing so. You may not wake up. This is serious. Carbon minoxide is odorless, colorless and DEADLY.

yes maybe its the meth, snorting ajax and shooting heroin in your eye can have the same effect as well. Look if your gonna snort ajax make sure to have a syringe of morphine ready to counter the initial shock of the chemicals goin in you rbrain. Then drink a gallon of vodka and stab yourself in the leg to help ease the pain of all the drugs combined. Hope i was helpful
This same thing happens to me occasionally, but only in my house. Recently though, I have been passing out. I passed out at walmart the other day, and I passed out when I got up too quickly. My family and friends are telling me that I could be diabetic, but I don't want to believe it. It definetely could be carbon monoxide, though. Haven't you ever seen "untold stories of the ER"? This girl kept having fainting spells after she would ride/drive an old car that her dad restored for her. The doctor thought she was being honest, but the nurses thought she was just a pill junkie. Eventually, he walked her out to her car when she decided she was going to move hospitals, and he saw that it was his favorite older car, so he took a ride and drove. She sat in the passenger seat and passed out 3 feet down the road, and he suddenly became whoozy and had a headache. Get your apartment checked for a carbon monoxide leak. Stay at a friend's house until it can be done, but if it's not taken care of, you will die. Hope this helps. Be careful.
